Skin fade or taper fade?
A skin fade blends the sides and back down to skin. A taper concentrates the transition around areas such as the temples and neckline. Bring a photo and discuss the shape, height and length you want to keep on top with your barber.
Plan enough time for the details
The dedicated fade appointment is longer than the Full Haircut appointment. Select the fade service when booking so there is time for the blend, shampoo and hot towel finish.
Keeping your fade looking sharp
Ask your barber how the cut is likely to grow out and when to return for your preferred look. The right interval depends on your hair growth and how close you like the sides.
What should I bring to my appointment?
A clear reference photo can help show the fade height and shape you want. Tell your barber about any areas you want to preserve, including the hairline or length on top.
